Join us on Saturday, April 11th at 9am for our spring Lake cleanup! There are two meet up locations: Lake Rowena Park and Lake Formosa Park. Plan to join us for 30 minutes, an hour, or the full morning help keep our lakes and shorelines clean. Our cleanups have pulled OVER 3 TONS of trash from the shallows and shores of the various Lock Haven Lakes! Check our website for more info (link in bio).
PLEASE NOTE: launching boats from the shoreline of these lakes is prohibited to prevent damage to the fragile ecosystem. The city of Orlando gives FLHCL special permission for our lake cleanups. Thank you for your cooperation!

Thank you to all the volunteers that joined us, Keep Orlando Beautiful, and Central Florida Recon for the Loch Haven Lake Cleanup yesterday! We had beautiful weather and were able to remove hundreds of pounds of trash from the water and shorelines. Check back for the final totals and how to vote for the most interesting trash item found

Join your lake neighbors for a Meet & Greet Saturday, May 3rd at 9:30 AM followed by a presentation of the Nutrient Load and Flooding Study results conducted by the St. Johns River Water Management District and CDM Smith, the firm commissioned to carry out the study. Come curious! There will be an expert Q&A session after the presentation. Parking available on the street and in the Science Center garage.
