Since 2009, Straight Street has been more than just an organization—it’s been a movement built on love, service, and community. ❤️

Through every meal served, every conversation shared, and every life touched, it was the people behind the mission—our volunteers, partners, and supporters—who made it all possible.

In light of this season of transition, we don’t look back with sadness… we look back with gratitude.

Grateful for every early morning.
Grateful for every helping hand.
Grateful for every moment that reminded someone they are seen, valued, and loved.

To everyone who has been a part of this journey—whether you served, donated, prayed, or simply showed up—thank you. Your impact goes far beyond what we can measure.

Straight Street may be closing this chapter, but the seeds planted in this community will continue to grow. 🌱

✨ Straight Street Spotlight: Rome Saint Fleur ✨

For over a decade, Rome Saint Fleur has been a faithful servant in the Straight Street Orlando community. What started as a volunteer opportunity in 2016 quickly became a calling that he has continued to answer with compassion, dedication, and love.

Rome reminds us that sometimes the most powerful act of service is simply showing up — sharing a meal, listening to someone’s story, and reminding people they are seen and valued. Through his commitment, countless individuals have experienced kindness, encouragement, and human connection.

His heart for serving others reflects what Straight Street is all about: restoring hope, building relationships, and loving our neighbors.

✨ Spotlight: Iris Massi Glover ✨

What began in 2020 as lunches made at home quickly became something much bigger. From packing simple meals to stepping onto the truck, Iris and her girls learned early what it looks like to serve with compassion and courage.

Over the years, those moments grew into prayers, conversations, and friendships that forever changed their hearts. Serving month after month became a joy, not an obligation.

Nearly six years later, the gratitude runs deep — for the people, the lessons, and the journey that shaped their family.

We can’t wait to see what God has ahead. 🙏💛
