History has been made.

Spain has elected Mar Galcerán as the first woman with Down syndrome to serve in a European regional parliament.

Her election is not only a milestone, but also a reminder that leadership, talent, and the ability to make an impact are not defined by disability.

Representation matters. When people with disabilities have a seat at the table, communities become stronger, more inclusive, and more reflective of the people they serve.

At Jonathan's Landing Foundation, we believe every individual deserves opportunities to lead, contribute, and shape the future.

A simple way to make an impact !

Jonathan's Landing Foundation is proud to be a nonprofit partner of The Good Pour. The Good Pour is a wine, spirits, and marketplace that donates a portion of company profits to local charities of the customer's choice. With every purchase, shoppers pick a nonprofit, and the company donates a portion of the profit accordingly.

Together, we're turning everyday purchases into meaningful support for adults with autism.

Nonprofits are built on an idea: that when people come together around a shared purpose, they can create something bigger than themselves.

At Jonathan's Landing Foundation, that purpose is creating a new model for adulthood for adults with autism, one built around meaningful LIVE and WORK opportunities, intentional communities, and greater independence.

But this work doesn't happen alone.

It happens because of the people who show up, ask questions, share ideas, build partnerships, volunteer, donate, advocate, and believe that a better future is possible.

Today, we're celebrating everyone who helps move that future forward.

What if hiring started with skills instead of resumes?
That's one of the questions driving the Workforce Innovation Center, Jonathan's Landing Foundation's national hub for reimagining work for neurodiverse adults.

Inside the WIC: hands-on training labs, industry-aligned certifications, employer partnerships, and family support, all designed around how neurodiverse learners actually learn.

Because nearly 80% of adults with autism are unemployed or underemployed, and the problem isn't talent.

It's the system.

We're building a better one.

There isn't one roadmap for adulthood. And that's okay. 💙

For families supporting a young adult with autism through the transition after high school, there can be a lot to think about: education, employment, independence, relationships, community, and what comes next.

SZA recently shared publicly that she received a formal autism diagnosis, opening up a new conversation about what autism can look like in adulthood.

Her story is also a reminder that there is no single way to be autistic, and no single path to a meaningful life.

A diagnosis doesn't determine someone's potential, career, interests, relationships, or dreams. Every person has their own strengths, goals, and support needs.

At Jonathan's Landing Foundation, we believe adults with autism deserve opportunities to LIVE, WORK, and BELONG in ways that reflect who they are and what they want for their future.

Because autism doesn't come with one blueprint for adulthood.

Neither should opportunity. 💙
