This lady is a testament of what your support continues to do in our community. I met this young lady 2 years ago while we were giving out presents to our Carver Middle students. She is grandmother raising both of her grandchildren and we gifted her grand kids with presents that year.

Fast forward to this year, She has reached out to various other community organizations for help with Christmas presents and food for her grandchildren this year. She was unable to get help. She was looking through some files at work when she came across one of our board members name and she reached out to them and said Bridges of Light helped her a while back and she was wondering if we were still helping families.

Our board member told her that our Executive Director would be reaching out to speak with her regarding getting some help. Once I spoke to her I remembered exactly who she was and invited her to the office.

We were able to provide her with presents for her kids and food for her family!! None of this would have been possible without the faithfulness of our donors and supporters. As always thank you all for being committed during 2020. We can’t wait to tackle 2021 with you guys!
