Today was exciting and exuberating. Spoke to the Central Florida Tourism Oversight Committee today on behalf of Small Business Advocates of Central Fl in regards to Veteran Owned and Small Business contracting opportunities with Disney World.

This is a huge accomplishment for our local veteran owned and small businesses. Stay tuned for further information regarding procurement opportunities.

We are so excited!!! "ORLANDO HEALTH "NEW" BEHAVIORAL CENTER" IN APOPKA!!!! ALL TRADES WELCOME!! This is a huge accomplishment for SBACFl and our local business community. This is a $52 million dollar project. The partnership with Berglund on the construction of the Orlando Health Behavior Center will be instrumental in providing jobs and contracts to local firms and constituents. WE ARE PROUD OF OUR CITY! Small Business Advocates of Central Florida is happy to announce a partnership with Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce to bring first ever "Apopka Bid Opportunity Preference Initiative" This program will allow local/minority small business participation on private projects that are currently being developed in Apopka and surrounding areas. This has never happened in the private sector and we are excited!! Thank you to all developers that have agreed to get onboard with this initiative and allow minority small firms to have and opportunity to grow in the private sector. There will be a event on January 31, 2022 at 1pm @ VFW in Apopka that will give minority firms and opportunity to hear first hand from developers about future opportunities....Thank you to Orlando Business Journal for covering this amazing accomplishment!!!
