What a great turnout for our October NCL Citrus Blossom Chapter Patroness Meeting! 💙🧡

On World Menopause Day, we had an incredibly informative and meaningful conversation about perimenopause and menopause with our guest speaker, Dr. Penelope Pauley.

Dr. Pauley shared a wealth of knowledge, valuable insights, and practical information that sparked some deep, honest, and much-needed conversations. Her ability to educate, engage, and create a comfortable space for women to ask questions made this such an impactful experience. These are the conversations we need to be having!

Our Classes of 2027, 2028 and 2029 spent last Sunday at UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management exploring the world of hospitality and tourism, career pathways, leadership, internships and the many opportunities available within the industry.

A special thank you to UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management for generously hosting our Ticktockers and welcoming us to campus on a Sunday. We truly appreciate the time and hospitality extended to our chapter.

Dr. Jessica Wickey Byrd gave an engaging presentation and shared her knowledge and experience with our girls, and Joseph Neddo, a Rosen College student and Dean’s Student Ambassador with the Rosen College Leadership Council, shared his college journey and experiences in leadership.

Experiences like this are what Lead with Purpose is all about exposing our Ticktockers to new possibilities, new perspectives and opportunities to think about their own futures. 💙🍊

In collaboration with WISE, Women Investing In Security and Education, we are proud to offer a Financial Education Series for our Ticktockers!

Designed to foster long-term financial confidence, this three-part curriculum equips members with practical, age-appropriate money management tools for relatable milestones.

Our 7th and 8th graders put their budgets to the test as we kicked off the series with "The Pet Parent Challenge: Budgeting for Your Best Friend." Members chose a furry companion, researched real-world supply costs and tallied up everything from routine vet visits to surprise expenses.

National Charity League empowers young leaders with the financial literacy and practical tools needed to make smart, confident choices for the future.

We look forward to continuing the series with upcoming workshops on Buying & Owning a Car for 9th and 10th graders, and Independent Living for 11th and 12th graders!
