Congratulations to Palm Beach Gardens and the four other teams on a strong showing in the 2026 Florida Rapid Intervention Operations Group RIT Competition!

The results are in for our 2026 FROG RIT Championship. Congratulations to Palm Beach Gardens on the excellent showing and 1st place finish with a total time of 8:49!

5) Town of Palm Beach 12:04

Every team competed at a high level and honored Firefighter Christopher Roy from Worcester, Massachusetts in December 2018.

MORE RIT PICS ON DECK 💪 The 2026 Florida Rapid Intervention Operations Group Rapid Intervention Competition continued into the evening Thursday, for a total of 26 teams hitting the tradeshow floor.

This is was a tough field of competitors, and the top five teams will advance to the finals on Friday. It's this final event that replicates a true Line-of-Duty Death incident with an added challenge of competitors not knowing what the scenario will be ahead of time.

We look forward to watching the final groups show out on Friday and bring more of the intensity to our 2026 Conference. Let's go! 🔥🔥🔥

MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY! 🔥 The first round of the 2026 Florida Rapid Intervention Operations Group RIT competition is underway in Orlando.

Teams from across the state are competing in an intense course, testing their fitness, teamwork, and ability to rescue one of their own.

We applaud all teams taking part in this year’s Florida Fire and EMS Conference! Photos below include some of the first teams to hit the course Thursday.

We’re at the Orange County Convention Center! 🚒 This morning, we kicked off with the opening ceremonies and heard from our opening keynote, Frank Viscuso, during his session Step Up and Lead.

The trade show opens today at 12:00 p.m., and we’re looking forward to the next few days of networking 🤝, education, and professional development.

H.O.T. Classes officially kicked off this morning at the new Orange County Fire Rescue Training Center and Valencia College Fire Rescue Institute! We’re excited to welcome our instructors and attendees as they begin two full days of hands-on, immersive training. These sessions offer a unique opportunity for participants to sharpen their skills, learn from industry leaders, and engage in realistic, high-impact scenarios. We’re looking forward to two days of focused, scenario-driven training that strengthens operational readiness and supports continued professional growth.
