Do you have plans on Wednesdays and Saturdays?

If not, now you do! Come join Takodana Temple at one of our weekly practices. We meet every Wednesday 6:30pm at Blue Jacket Park and Saturdays at 9am at Cypress Grove Park in the Orlando area. Our practices have officially re-opened to the public and if you’re interested in joining a volunteer group with a focus on Star Wars costuming, lightsaber choreography, and stage combat, we’d love to have you!

We have a training program that teaches everyone how to use lightsabers and perform from the ground up - so no experience is necessary. We’ve got a big group of amazing people where you’re sure to make friends and have fun!

Practices are free to attend and for those prospective members who are interested in joining the club (practices are not children’s jedi training). We ask that members and recruits bring water, close toed shoes, and weather appropriate attire that is comfortable for exercise.

Day 2 of the Florida Kids & Family Expo!

We’re halfway through the day, but still running strong! Come watch us on the main stage at 3:30pm for our show Temptations of the Dark where our jedi and sith will face head to head in a show about loyalty, friendship, and the Force.

If you met us at Kids & Fam this weekend, comment “frogs” below! If you’re interested in joining Takodana and learning more about lightsaber choreography and stage combat, our next open practice is August 26th!

That’s a wrap on Day 1 of the Florida Kids & Family Expo!

Come stop by our booth on August 23rd for Day 2! We will be holding children’s jedi training at noon and 1:30pm! Be sure to get there about 15 minutes early as there is limited availability and today’s sessions filled up quick.

Don’t forget to cheer on our members on the main stage at 3:30pm for our final show of the weekend! 💙❤️

Day 1 of the Florida Kids & Fam Expo is underway!

Come visit Takodana Temples’ jedi & sith in Zone 8 for some Children’s Jedi training at 11:00am and 12:30pm (limited space availability) where you can learn how to use the Force!

Or stop by the main stage today, Saturday August 22nd at 2:30pm for our lightsaber stage show!
