Let’s ask some members of Takodana Temple what they’re carrying in their belt pouches!

Day 1 of Ancient City Con in St Augustine, Florida. Come stop by the Star Wars area and say hi to members of Takodana Temple and our sister clubs!

Those are some scruffy looking nerf herders! Some of our Jedi and Sith managed to sneak a quick break from their temple duties to greet the local fauna at the Florida Kids & Family Expo in August!

If there’s one thing the Jedi and Sith can agree on, it’s making sure to give a good scratch to the Urthha creatures.

Featuring: SG-1449, SG-916, and SG-1152

Congratulations SG-1529 for completing her very first troop at Ocala Comic Con over the last weekend. She was supported by her fellow temple members SG-1017 and SG-1343.

See you all Saturday at 9am!

Do you have plans on Wednesdays and Saturdays?

If not, now you do! Come join Takodana Temple at one of our weekly practices. We meet every Wednesday 6:30pm at Blue Jacket Park and Saturdays at 9am at Cypress Grove Park in the Orlando area. Our practices have officially re-opened to the public and if you’re interested in joining a volunteer group with a focus on Star Wars costuming, lightsaber choreography, and stage combat, we’d love to have you!

We have a training program that teaches everyone how to use lightsabers and perform from the ground up - so no experience is necessary. We’ve got a big group of amazing people where you’re sure to make friends and have fun!

Practices are free to attend and for those prospective members who are interested in joining the club (practices are not children’s jedi training). We ask that members and recruits bring water, close toed shoes, and weather appropriate attire that is comfortable for exercise.

If you’re not in the Orlando area, but still are interested in joining Saber Guild - send us a message and we’ll help connect you with your local temple
