Regarding Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings’ recent announcement

The National Haitian American Chamber of Commerce (NHACCC) extends its heartfelt prayers and best wishes to Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings following the announcement of his cancer diagnosis and campaign suspension.

For more than 45 years, Mayor Demings has faithfully served Orange County with dedication, integrity, and strong leadership. We are especially grateful for his long-standing support of the Haitian-American community and his commitment to building a stronger and more inclusive Central Florida for all.

As he steps away from the campaign trail to focus on his health and family, we pray for strength, healing, and a full recovery. We also extend our support and prayers to Val Demings and the entire Demings family during this time.

Mayor Demings has spent decades serving others. Today, we stand with him as he faces this challenge with the courage and determination that have defined his life of public service.

This past Sunday, May 31st, the Board of Directors of the National Haitian American Christian Chamber of Commerce (NHACCC) gathered at our headquarters office for our Semi-Annual Strategic Planning Meeting. For some five hours, our leadership team engaged in meaningful discussions, collaborative planning, and forward-thinking initiatives designed to strengthen our organization and create greater value for our members and the communities we serve. 💎

As a faith-driven chamber, we remain committed to fostering business growth, professional development, economic empowerment, and community impact. The time invested by our dedicated board reflects our shared vision of building stronger businesses, stronger leaders, and stronger communities.
