Congrats to everyone who participated in this event & to our president for winning 3rd place in her age group! 🥉🌟

It’s been 1️⃣ week since our March chapter meeting & it was a huge success!

Thank you to everyone who showed up & to our former treasurer for her wonderful contribution to the chapter these past 4 years! 💛

We also welcomed .inspace and learned about her experience as an aerospace engineer in her current role at Blue Origin! 🚀

We hope to see you at our next chapter meeting on April 23rd from 6-8 PM at the Orlando Executive Airport! We’ll be hearing from our 2026 Ilia Quiñonez Memorial Scholarship recipients and their experience at the conference! 💫✈️

Join us at the Orlando Executive Airport on March 26th from 6-8 PM for an unforgettable evening with your 2026 Board Members, chapter members and special guest, aerospace engineer at Blue Origin, Perla Lattore-Suarez! ✈️💛

Latorre-Suarez is an aerospace engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Central Florida. As a graduate student, her research focused on materials science for space components, collaborating with organizations such as NASA Langley Research Center, the German Aerospace Center and Argonne National Laboratory. She currently works with the U.S. Navy, specializing in modeling and simulation for warfighter training. As part of her role, she is also completing a rotation with Blue Origin, where she supports the Lunar Mission Operations Training Team. 🚀

Yesterday, the ladies brainstormed some great ideas for the year ahead to ensure that you all get the best out of the chapter & thanks to our new WAI-CFL President & her husband Scot Broman, board members also got to practice flying a Boeing 737 Max simulator! We also want to extend our thanks to the warm welcome of the Allegiant Air Training Center & Ground Sim instructor, Brett Weber, for the amazing experience! We look forward to sharing all the wonderful events and activities we are planning for this upcoming year! Let’s have a great year! 🫂👏🏼✨
