But transformational work isn't about pretending those experiences didn't happen.

Want to change what you're experiencing? Start by examining what is shaping your decisions.

We often look outward first: the market, the people around us, the circumstances, the opportunity we didn't get.

But according to transformational speaker Bhavna Srivastava, meaningful transformation also requires going inward—recognizing the emotional and mental patterns that influence how we respond to life.

That doesn't mean your thoughts magically control reality. It means greater self-awareness can change the decisions you make within that reality.

And different decisions can create different outcomes.

Try these three questions:
1. What belief is influencing this decision?
2. What am I afraid to acknowledge?
3. What would I choose if I responded from greater clarity?

Inner awareness → intentional decisions → purposeful action.

What if finding your purpose isn't about choosing between feminine and masculine energy, but learning how to work with both?

Many of us are taught to lead from one mode: push harder, achieve more, keep moving. But constant action can disconnect us from reflection, intuition, and what actually matters.

Bhavna Srivastava, “The Golden Light,” approaches transformation through the intersection of leadership, mindset, emotional wellness, spirituality, and purpose.

Her insight: reflection without action can keep you stuck, but action without inner awareness can take you in the wrong direction.

Purpose becomes clearer when you can listen within, and then act on what you discover.

Takeaway: Before your next major decision, pause long enough to ask: Am I acting from clarity or simply reacting?

Today, we had the privilege of celebrating the inaugural launch of a new venture led by one of the women in our community.

At Global Women of Impact - GWOI, we believe that showing up for one another matters. Support doesn't always come in grand gestures. Sometimes, it's as simple as being present, offering encouragement, and celebrating someone else's courage to begin.

One thought shared today deeply resonated with us: if you're building a business or pursuing a vision to create a difference, do it with people who are heading in the same direction as you, not simply those you know, have met, or like. Shared values and shared vision build extraordinary things.

Every time a woman starts a business, expands her company, launches a new idea, or takes a leap of faith, we all win. Her success becomes a reminder of what's possible for others.

Keep applauding for others until it's your turn. And when your turn comes, may you find a community ready to applaud for you.

Every season has a purpose.

For us, summer has never been about slowing down. It's been about exploring new places, learning from different cultures, building meaningful partnerships, and gathering ideas that can create even greater impact.

As I sat in this beautiful Italian home, surrounded by paintings that have inspired generations, I found myself wondering...

“What was going through the artist's mind before the first brushstroke?”

That question stayed with me.

I meet so many women with incredible dreams, ambitious goals, and a genuine desire to make a difference. Yet many never bring those dreams to life.
Not because they lack talent.
But because lasting transformation begins with a new way of thinking.

Just as every masterpiece begins with a vision, every meaningful journey begins with the courage to think differently.

This summer has filled us with fresh perspectives, new relationships, and exciting collaborations.
Now, Global Women of Impact is ready to resume its programs.

We're looking forward to reconnecting with our community, welcoming new women, and continuing our mission of helping women speak with confidence, lead with purpose, and build bridges across cultures.

I smiled as I looked at that painting.
I bet the artist never imagined it would become something this beautiful.
Maybe the same is true for all of us.
