Strengthen and unite culturally diverse women to create meaningful change in their communities. We believe in fostering opportunities for diverse women to achieve economic independence by creating pathways to generate wealth and advocating for rights and social justice. Through collaboration, education, and action, we aim to build a global community of women who inspire and uplift each other and who create a positive impact for generations to come. Our Vision:
To create a nurturing, multicultural environment where women from a multitude of backgrounds are honored for their achievements, celebrated for their leadership, and are empowered to create change for themselves and others. GWOI is a DBA operating all its programs under the MAAPW -a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit organization focused on strengthening and uniting culturally diverse women to create meaningful change. If you missed last month’s brunch and connection, this is your chance to join us.

Hats & Chats is a gathering around one table where women entrepreneurs, business owners, and executives can have real conversations, exchange ideas, share experiences, and make connections that extend beyond the afternoon.

No formal presentations. No pressure to pitch your business. Just good food, thoughtful conversation, and the opportunity to get to know women who are building, leading, and exploring what comes next.

This is also part of GWOI’s VOLEA Method — A for Access. Because sometimes, moving forward starts with meeting someone who offers a new perspective, a useful introduction, or an opportunity you hadn't considered.

It’s the last quarter of the year.

And right about now, a lot of people are pressing harder.

Three months left.
Goals not reached.
Plans that didn’t happen.

Numbers that aren’t where you wanted them to be.
And suddenly, you feel behind.

No. You are not behind.

Behind compared to whom?

Someone who started with more resources?
Someone in a different season of life?
Someone whose circumstances you know nothing about?

Your year doesn’t become a failure because everything on your January list didn’t happen by October.

Maybe this year was about building. Learning. Changing direction. Walking away from something that no longer fit. Starting again. Or finally getting clear about what you actually want.

That counts too.

So yes, use these last three months well. Push where you need to push. Finish what deserves to be finished.

But don’t run yourself into the ground trying to catch up to a timeline that was never yours.

You are not behind. You still have time.

And sometimes, one focused quarter can change the direction of an entire year.
