Grandmothers Of Hope We are a ministry of Christian grandmothers promoting godly grandparenting.

We are called to be a component of the “Great Commission” with a mission to minister to the youth and their surroundings.

WE MUST BE ABOUT OUR FATHER'S BUSINESS Luke 2:29

But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
--Isaiah 40:31

If you are feeling low today, God has a plan to help you defeat your depression!
First, God can refresh you. When Elijah was exhausted and emotionally drained, God provided refreshment. “And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay down again” (1 Kings 19:6).
God took care of Elijah’s physical needs – food and rest. Sometimes you need to withdraw physically, emotionally, and spiritually and be encouraged in the Lord.

Secondly, God rebuked Elijah. In verse 9, God asks, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” Yes, God sent the earthquake and the fire. But in the end, God spoke to Elijah in “low whisper” (1 Kings 19:12).
You and I often want God to speak to us with spectacular events and situations. But God most often speaks in the still small voice of His Word.

And thirdly, God recommissioned Elijah. “And the LORD said to him, ‘Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus. And when you arrive, you shall anoint Hazael to be king over Syria” (1 Kings 19:15). God told Elijah that it was time to get back in the game!

GRANDMOTHERS “Aging With Jesus…”

I used to measure life
in milestones—
first steps, first days,
firsts that felt like beginnings.

Now I measure it
in mornings He meets me,
in the steadiness of grace,
in the way He stays.

Aging with Jesus
doesn’t mean growing weaker—
it means learning
where my strength was
all along.

It’s waking up
with hands that look different,
knees that feel the years,
and a heart that trusts Him more
than it ever did before.

It’s knowing
I don’t have to hurry anymore.
He isn’t impressed by my pace.
He walks with me,
even when I need to stop.

Wrinkles become markers
of laughter He gave me,
of tears He carried with me,
of prayers He answered
in ways I didn’t expect.

Aging with Jesus
means the noise fades
but the truth gets louder.
The world asks less of me,
and He asks only
that I stay close.

I don’t fear the years ahead.
Not because they’ll be easy—
but because He’ll be there,
the same as He’s always been.

Still faithful.
Still kind.
Still holding my hand
as time moves on.

And if this body slows,
if my voice softens,
if my days grow quieter—
let them be filled
with the sound of His presence.

Because growing older with Jesus
is not losing life—
it’s finally understanding
what it was all for.

A Christmas Prayer
from our Founder

Dear Heavenly Father,
Our hearts rejoice in praising YOU! We are so happy about the winter holidays being a season that is totally about praising, worshipping, and boasting about YOU!!
Help us to resist the rush of the busyness of this holiday season. Quiet our minds of thoughts that bring anxiety of getting everything done that spotlights attention to mankind. Let all the preparations
glorify YOU! Help our effort of perfection sparkle AMAZING glorious light on our Savior JESUS CHIRST, let everything that we do fulfill Psalm 34:8, “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.” Let our cooking bless Your Holy Name! let our eating and conversations bless your Holy Name! let our gifts of giving and receiving bless Your Holy Name, let our family and friends gatherings bless Your Holy Name! And let our church services bless Your Holy name!
Your Grace and Mercy is about how much YOU love us as stated in John 3:16. So help us to show love like YOU so we will not forget Your GIVING or the people around us, help us to smile at everyone we see this holiday season and to be a true and faithful helping hand to others in need, big and small. Remind us that our responsibility is to shine the light of Christ first and then care about people, not just family and friends because all humans are precious in Your sight therefore let our LOVE follow Your LOVE! the grace to never sacrifice getting something done to be all about us. Help us to show true hearted love to others, showing kindness, or simply being loving towards other people, giving them the fullness of the “Fruit of the Spirit! because that’s truly saying Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! That’s why we ask You to help us keep our eyes on Jesus, so we will always be ready to show His love to others. Let us never be so busy that we forget to shine the light of Christ to others far and near!

These anointed speakers were divinely empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach, teach, and share their messages from the Father with the Grandmothers Of Hope, last weekend. They all had "Word" from the Lord to deliver to our receptive hearts. The Grandmothers of Hope are thankful they were heaven-sent to us. Praise the Lord! 🙌🏾

The Grandmothers of Hope ended their weekend retreat on Sunday with a celebration of love, fellowship and sisterhood through praise, worship and communion with our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
