LoveyLoaves LoveyLoaves is a haven for small dogs with special needs, where broken beginnings become stories of healing and love.

Through foster and forever homes, we help every “specially-abled” pup find safety, joy, and belonging. LoveyLoaves is devoted to saving and rehabilitating dogs that have been dealt different circumstances in life. Amputees, blind/deaf, medically complex, carted dogs, those suffering from disease, illness, injury, or disorder…all find solace and safety within the rescue. We strive to open the doors

of LoveyLoaves Sanctuary, a safe haven for “specially-abled” dogs. This will be a place where dogs with special circumstances can receive rehabilitation, physical therapy, love, and possibly be re-homed, fostered, or peacefully live out the rest of their days. In the meantime we place dogs with special needs in loving homes through our foster and adoption program.

Well... Oakley made a questionable life choice. 🤦‍♀️

Our sweet boy somehow got ahold of some chicken, and unfortunately, Oakley is allergic to chicken! 🐶🍗🚫

After some tummy troubles and extra monitoring, he’s feeling much better today. ❤️ Thankfully, this little guy is resilient and is back to enjoying life.

He’s still rocking his signature Farmer Joe’s overalls to help keep his diaper in place, and honestly, we think he’s pulling off the look pretty well! 👨‍🌾💙

Please send Oakley some love and remind him that not everything that smells delicious is worth eating. 😂

To the women who built their lives around walks, routines, medication times, muddy paws, bedtime cuddles, and the daily experience of somehow getting dog hair in their mouth while having a conversation…

The ones who love with their whole hearts and are loved just as deeply in return.

Being a dog mom is still motherhood. It is nurturing, protecting, sacrificing, comforting, worrying, and loving someone more than yourself. It’s celebrating the good days, staying up through the hard ones, and giving your heart completely to the animals who depend on you.

Today, we celebrate the women whose children happen to have paws.

Linus is officially joining his new brother, Flicker, with the wonderful Morello family. We could not be happier for this sweet boy as he begins his next chapter surrounded by love, comfort, and family.
