🎉 OUR VERY BIG NEWS! 🎉
Our very first in-person Maintenance Training cohort in Tampa has officially produced its first hire! 🙌

Please help us celebrate Glen, who joins The Michaels Organization on Monday as a Maintenance Technician. 🥳

This is exactly what Entryway Central Florida is all about. Skills turned into confidence. Training turned into opportunity. Opportunity turned into a brand new career path.

Huge thanks to Billy Lawson and The Michaels Organization for recognizing Glen’s potential and helping open this door. Virtual congratulations and hugs are coming from Jessica Corton and everyone who helped make this first Tampa cohort such a success!

WHO ARE WE? Read on...Day one at an apartment community. A name badge. A team to learn from. And at the end of the shift, a furnished apartment to go home to.

That's where one of our Entryway Central Florida graduates is starting. The goal isn't just a job. It's a career.

We train people for careers in multifamily, and we don't stop at the classroom. Job preparation, placement, and support once they're on the job are all part of it, and for some participants, a place to live too.

Many of our participants come to us through community partners after a hard season. They show up ready to work and ready to learn. They just need someone to open the door.

Our industry needs good people. Our participants need a way in. Entryway Central Florida connects the two across the Orlando area and Tampa Bay.

These graduates showed up ready to learn, took on every challenge, and finished the program with greater confidence and valuable skills to carry into their next career opportunities. That certificate represents far more than completing a training program. It represents dedication, possibility, and a future they are ready to build!

The Orlando CAB team just gained a strategic thinker, multifamily leader, and professional problem solver! 🎉

Please join us in welcoming Mallory Hoffmeyer to the Entryway Central Florida City Advisory Board!

As Senior Director of Procurement for RangeWater Residential, Mallory leads procurement strategy and operations while overseeing the Transitions team. With more than 15 years of multifamily experience, she is passionate about using centralization, data, and strong vendor partnerships to improve performance and create better experiences for onsite teams and residents.

Mallory also serves as Chair of the Strategic Planning Task Force for the Florida Apartment Association and has held leadership roles with both the AAGO and the National Apartment Association.

When she is not shaping multifamily strategy, you may find her traveling, reading, playing pickleball, enjoying time with her three fur babies, or recommending your next favorite podcast! 🎧🐾

We were honored to join the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation at the inaugural OMYF Collective Impact Reveal, bringing together nonprofit organizations, community leaders, donors, and partners working to make an impact across Central Florida.

As an OMYF Micro Grant Recipient, Entryway has already experienced firsthand that their investment goes far beyond funding. Through the new OMYF Collective and Catalyst initiative, they are creating opportunities for nonprofit leaders to learn, connect, grow, and ultimately strengthen the organizations and communities we serve.

It was also especially meaningful to share the room with so many incredible nonprofit leaders, including a few familiar faces from chapters earlier in our careers. 🥰

Thank you, OMYF, for investing not only in the missions doing this work, but also in the people behind them. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this Collective and excited for what’s ahead! 🪄💙

Today, we are celebrating Kara Rice and Kirk Downey for their continued service as valued members of the Entryway Central Florida City Advisory Board!

Their leadership, industry experience, and commitment to opening doors for individuals and families have helped strengthen our mission and our community. We are incredibly grateful for the time, heart, and energy they continue to share.

Our Entryway Central Florida Maintenance trainees recently attended a Hiring Event designed to turn training into opportunity, and we had fantastic industry partners in the room ready to meet them.

A huge thank you to Brandi Kines with Allegiant-Carter Management, Christa Bass and Eric Clark with Willow Bridge, and Riley O’Neal with RangeWater Residential for investing their time, expertise, and encouragement in our participants. 💙

And of course, Entryway’s own Jessica Corton and Taylor Bowens, National Program & Retention Representative, were there cheering everyone on and helping connect talent with possibility.

This is what happens when training meets opportunity, and our industry shows up for future talent. Let the hiring begin! 🙌
