Serving the Children of Orland

Kiwanis is a local organization part of a global group of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The Orland Kiwanis Club holds many service projects throughout the year such as our annual Halloween Parade and Carnival.

Let’s face it – people are busy with family, friends, careers, hobbies, and other interests. Kiwanis offers an affordable opportunity – one that only costs a little time, not a lot of money – to make a difference in the community. Members decide how much time and money they want to invest, and they are often surprised to find they get much more out of it than they can ever put in.

Kiwanis, through guidance and example, works to develop future generations of leaders. Every day, Kiwanians are revitalizing our neighborhoods, organizing youth-sports programs, tutoring, building playgrounds, and performing countless other projects to help children in our community. We are dedicated to “Changing the World, One Child and One Community at a Time,” and through these efforts, we truly are fulfilling our motto – “Serving the Children of the World.”
