Exploring careers beyond the classroom!

Thanks in part to a District 230 Foundation grant, Andrew High School students celebrated Manufacturing Day with a visit to National Tube Supply Company, where they explored careers in the skilled trades and connected with machinists, material handlers and machine operators.

Foundation grants help open doors to post-secondary opportunities of all kinds, giving students the chance to see firsthand where their interests and talents can take them.

The District 230 Foundation has postponed the 2026 Legacy Hall induction ceremony to November 2027 due to scheduling conflicts and the unavailability of several inductees.

We look forward to celebrating our Legacy Hall honorees together in 2027. Additional details will be shared at a later date.

On this Patriot Day, we remember and honor. Stagg High School students marked the 25th anniversary of September 11 through service, kindness and community.

With support from a $3,000 District 230 Foundation grant, hundreds of Chargers came together to pack care packages for local families, unhoused neighbors and fellow Stagg students in need.

A Foundation grant in action, helping students turn a lesson in history into a powerful lesson in service. ❤️🤍💙

The District 230 Foundation is seeking nominations for prominent alumni who have used their education and experience at Carl Sandburg, Amos Alonzo Stagg, and Victor J. Andrew high schools to become successful, positive contributors to society. The annual Legacy Hall dinner is an opportunity to recognize and honor the District 230 graduates. The success of Eagle Army was made possible - albeit in a small way - by the D230 funding of a robot transportation cart. Easily transporting their winning robot to the competition floor allowed members to focus on the engineering tasks at hand.
