Juneteenth is a reminder that freedom, access, and belonging are connected.
Today, we honor the history of Juneteenth and reflect on what it means to build communities where Black and Brown disabled individuals, special needs families, caregivers, and community members are not only seen, but supported.
Freedom should include the ability to participate fully.
Freedom should include accessible spaces.
Freedom should include families feeling welcomed, valued, and considered.
At The You Belong Foundation, our work is rooted in creating inclusive community experiences where belonging is not rare — it is expected.
Today, we celebrate freedom, honor resilience, and recommit to building spaces where everyone belongs.
Happy Juneteenth.
