We are running a race to the beginning of camps season and know you are too, so we wanted to share a few myCAMPapp Facial Recognition tips to help you prepare for your camper's session!

- Parents, if the camera is black, you must go to the Settings app on their phone and edit the settings to allow camera access.
- Zoom in with the camera to make their camper’s face is the same size as the oval. Make sure there is nobody else in the camera frame and that there is enough light.
- Take 2 or 3 photos to increase accuracy of the facial recognition technology. Photos are automatically saved. You do not need to press the Save button.
- The fidelity gauge within the facial recognition system will allow for a small level of "overmatching". As a result, there may be some mismatched photos saved to your camper's album.

We hope these tips help as you set up your MyCAMPapp for the summer!

This year's Explorers' Camp T-shirt has been designed by a Shrine Mont Camps alum! Mike White is a former St. George's counselor who led a mean Nature elective and is an incredibly talented artist. He lives in Richmond, VA with his wife, Lindsay, and their two boys (with a girl on the way)! We are so appreciative of Mike lending his time and talents to create this killer design.

Shrine Mont Camps wants to share with you our Lils' camp t-shirt design and designer, Cristina Mansilla!

Cristina comes from a family of all star campers, is a former St. George's counselor (among other camps), and is an aunt to current St. George's campers. She is an extremely talented artist, as you can see by this design! Which we are obsessed with. Lils' camp director, Lucy, worked with Cristina, giving input on the design.
