Stop the Station: 2000 S & Geneva Help us stop the proposed gas station right in our backyard. We need your help to get it shut down!

Holiday Oil is trying to build a gas station in Orem, UT at the corner of 2000 S & Geneva Rd that would put gas pumps less than 100 yards from homes, and dumpsters less than 15 ft from property lines.

Let's talk zoning. These quotes are from Orem City Planning Commission meetings in 2020 when the land was being rezoned:

"Some members of the Commission...expressed concern whether the site at this corner would fit in with the surrounding neighborhood."

"It is evident in the many public comments these residents made that they were probably not informed."

And this is from the planning commission's own minutes. We're not making it up. Clearly even the Commission is a little concerned about the circumstances of the rezone.

This is the proposed site of the new gas station. It backs up right against 4 different property lines, and is approximately 800 feet from a school for children with special needs. Help us tell Orem City that we care about protecting residential areas.
