When was the last time you felt supported making lifestyle or behavior change?
Health coaching is all about having a guide on the side who’s been there done that, got the T-shirt and the hat 🎩 work with someone who knows the terrain of mental illness and can share lived experiences that may help you avoid some of the downfalls of these diseases. I’m happy to be in a much better place, now free of negative symptoms like hallucinations and psychosis that once had me in the hospital. Today I’m consciously creating a life I am proud of and I would love to see the same for you. 💜Book a free discovery call and let’s help you lose the limitation! 🚀

Brain immune crosstalk is a thing!!! You CAN do something about it though. I am fascinated by maternal immune health and the impact it has on offspring because I have a family history of autoimmune disease on both sides of my family- likely as a result, there’s also mental health symptoms through the family tree.

So… What’s the chicken & What’s the egg? Who knows- all I know is you better get some nutrients like choline into your body if you want to prevent disease and improve health outcomes. Those with mental illnesses in their families may have a greater need for certain nutrients.
There are things you can do (like supplement to improve the environment in which 🧬 genes express) this is called prenatal epigenetic programming, and you can always engage in (PrEP) postpartum epigenetic programming to improve the environmental conditions (if you missed the boat preconception and during gestation). Thankfully I get the opportunity to work on the postpartum side of the journey and try to improve quality of life, for me and my offspring🤗 we work twice as hard as the average person to have a good quality of life and be adaptable citizens- I do know my immune system was going haywire during my pregnancy and I had key nutrient deficiencies which made for a less than wonderful ending utero. I believe we can do a lot to improve mental health of communities by digging deeper into these tiny biological causes such as immune activation or deficiency of nutrients. When I take care of my mind, body and spirit, I am a better mother, more effective and clear at work, and am better able to handle the demands of my day. It can take time to develop an and sustain a new health habit. Keep a gentle aim towards your goal, and if at first you don’t succeed, try,try again! 💙🤗
It’s baby steps for the bigger win! 🥇 Learn more about my lifestyle coaching programs on my website (Link in bio) and give our local wellness studio ( ) some love as you put yourself first!!! How do you prioritize self-care?

Riffing on learned helplessness vs self efficacy. Minor challenges and major challenges are all part of life! We can build self efficacy and change our reliance on others into self-empowering actions. We can also build nervous system capacity for improved emotional regulation and safe attachment. Let me be the guide on the side as you step into greater self expression and live authentically! Many have helped me to regain trust in myself, my capacity and capability to do hard things and I’m so grateful for them seeing me as capable and whole. I’d love to hold that vision for you.

Sometimes it’s hard to stop and take stock of where I’ve been and celebrate where I’m leading our lives.
Finding my daughter’s note of encouragement was just the motivating factor I needed today to keep on keeping on through endless stacks of work!
I have high hopes and big dreams. We are in better places now and we got here by daring to keep taking many baby steps. Make a to do list, mark some things off, rinse, repeat!
