OREGON, Ohio — The Great Eastern Toastmasters Club, a longstanding public-speaking and leadership organization serving Northwest Ohio since 1971, will celebrate its 55th anniversary this April.
Founded to help individuals strengthen communication and presentation skills, the club provides a supportive learning environment focused on confidence-building, professional growth and personal development.
The community is invited to attend the club’s anniversary celebration on April 7, 2026, at 6 p.m. The event will be held in the lower level of ProMedica Bay Park Hospital, 2801 Bay Park Drive, Oregon, Ohio 43616.

Congratulations to Matt Wegert and Tom Baker. They will be representing Great Eastern in the Toastmasters Area O1 Speech Contest. Matt will present in the International Speech and Tom in the Humorous Speech Contest. Toastmasters Speech Contests provide opportunities to present, in competition, to gain experience and self confidence. Matt and Tom we will be cheering for you Saturday, February 21!
