Daily in December — Day 31 🎄✨
We made it to the very last day of Daily in December — and while we didn’t always post on time, we showed up, we followed through, and we highlighted so many of our favorite local spots and partners along the way. That alone feels like a big win 💪
For our #31, we wanted to give a very special shout-out to a partner who truly helps us during our winter months: Oregon Youth Center (OYC) 💙
As a seasonal business, one of our biggest challenges is navigating the lull that comes with colder weather. One of our biggest dreams is to open an indoor space of our own someday — but until that day comes, OYC helps us bridge that gap in such a meaningful way. They offer a fabulous indoor space that allows our clients to celebrate and gather without totally breaking the bank, and that support means more to us than we can say.
Beyond the space itself, OYC is doing incredible work in the community. They serve as an after-school and summer drop-in center for youth in grades 5–9 in the Oregon School District, offering a mix of staff- and volunteer-led programming alongside youth-driven activities — from sports and video games to cards, crafts, and more. It’s a place where kids feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to be themselves.
We’re so grateful for OYC, for their partnership, and for the role they play in supporting families, kids, and small businesses like ours during the winter months. Ending Daily in December with this shout-out feels exactly right.
