GREAT News! We received a large matching grant of $100,000. A donor is matching all contributions to the Friends of Oregon Sculpture Garden, Inc. up to $100 K. We're working to acquire the land and create the park. Please donate now because every dollar you contribute is worth two. We are a nonprofit group, so all contributions are tax-deductible. Thank you!

We need your help to reach our goal of raising $750,000 to create the Oregon Sculpture Garden, a one-of-a-kind park. This central park at 249 N. Main St. will have paths, old-growth trees, public art, a pavilion, common green area, and children’s playground.

The Board will decide on the language for the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for using or buying 249 N. Main Street. They will likely vote on whether they are going to set aside a certain amount of land in the RFP for the park at 249 N. Main St. or just leave it up to developers to make proposals on all of the land. If they don't specify the size of the park up front, it could become a tiny park behind large-scale development. This will kill the idea of a community park. Developers will want to maximize profits by buying the entire 2.8 acres and building as many large buildings as possible. Please come out to show your support for a central park on Main St. in Oregon. Or email trustees.
