The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is distinctly American. It is a national, charitable organization founded on the principals of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity. Here in Oregon our two primary children's charities are the Camp Meadowood Springs and the Elks Children's Eye Clinic, part of the Oregon Health and Science University. Through the Elks National Foundation, which i

s the charitable heart of the Order, we help young people develop lifelong skills, send students to college, meet the needs of today's veterans, support the charitable work of the state Elks associations, and fund projects that improve the quality of life in local Elks communities. We also offer other Youth Programs such as the Teenager of the Month Awards, Elks Drug Awareness Program, and the Elks National Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest. The BPOE offer services to our veterans, such as the Elks National Veterans Service Commission, and grants to maintain the Elks Veterans Memorial in Chicago. Come on out to our park off Mulino Road in Canby for a great evening of food and community. We’re firing up the grills for our Steak at the Park night, serving up a delicious steak dinner complete with all the sides.
Following dinner, we will host an open meeting at 7:00 PM featuring a special Flag Presentation and Retirement ceremony. This event is open to all members and their guests—we can't wait to see you there!

Congratulations to Tom Nodurft – our June Elk of the Month! 🦌✨
Tom is a longtime member and a dedicated contributor to our lodge and community. When we were looking to get our Friday night Queen of Hearts drawing off the ground, Tom stepped up to coordinate and cook, ensuring our members and guests had delicious, affordable meals to enjoy.
He has stepped into managing our meal service once again—a vital task he has successfully tackled before. Tom consistently keeps our food costs down and waste to a minimum, bringing a fresh approach to our kitchen and dining room. He truly excels at creating memorable meals with a budget in mind.
Please join us in thanking and congratulating Tom for everything he does, and welcoming him as our June Elk of the Month!

🏴‍☠️ Set your coordinates for Elks Park on Saturday, August 1st! The Oregon City Elks Lodge #1189 presents the Buccaneer Bash! Adult Picnic in the Park. The bar opens at 4 PM, dinner is served at 5 PM, and the Pillage People will be rocking the stage from 5-7 PM.
