Children’s Center is excited to announce Deniz Tasdemiroglu Conger as our new Executive Director.
Deniz joins us with a lifelong commitment to children’s health, education, safety, and well-being, and more than 25 years of experience leading nonprofit organizations through growth, transition, fundraising, and community-centered impact.

“From our very first interview, Deniz stood out as the kind of leader Children’s Center needs moving forward,” said Board Chair Michael Copenhaver. “She brings executive experience, emotional intelligence, philanthropic vision, and community-centered leadership — and understands the long-term commitment required to ensure children remain our number one priority.”

At Children’s Center, we believe protecting childhoods is one of the most important responsibilities we share as a community. With Deniz’s leadership, we will continue strengthening our core services, growing community awareness, deepening philanthropic partnerships, and advancing a future where more children are safe, supported, and able to heal.

Welcome, Deniz. We are grateful to begin this next chapter together.

We were honored to welcome the FBI Community Outreach Representative to Children's Center last week as they presented us with the FBI Director's Community Leadership Award.

We are incredibly grateful for this recognition of our commitment to protecting children and building a safer, stronger community. This award reflects the dedication of our staff, partners, multidisciplinary team, and supporters who work together every day to ensure children and families receive the care and support they deserve.
