WELCOME TO CAMP
We're so glad you found us! Camp Yakety Yak is a day camp for youth ages 5-18 experiencing physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities including ADHD and Autism and their typically developing siblings and friends are welcome to join in the fun! We also empower young adults ages 16-22 through a social skills based Workplace Apprenticeship program.
Camp 2026 will be at a NEW LOCATION: Westside Christian High School, 8200 SW Pfaffle Street in Tigard, Oregon.
Week 1: July 6-10,10am-3pm
Wildlife–Creatures live in unique environments all over the world and some share our backyards. We’ll explore both and what they need to survive and thrive on a changing Earth.
Week 2: July 13-17,10am-3pm
Space–What’s out there, who’s out there? How far away are they? How do we get there? These are some of the questions we’ll look for answers to, but be sure to bring your own.
Week 3: July 20-24,10am-3pm
Forest –The Forest holds tremendous secrets from the creatures that creep on and inside the soil to those who live their whole lives high in the trees. We’ll investigate who does what where.
Week 4: July 27-31,10am-3pm
Ocean–The ocean covers more than half of planet earth, but do we know who inhabits the warm and cool waters? From the depths to the surface we’ll look underneath the water and discover who’s there.
