Introducing...the amazing GRACE!

Today this beautiful new drill rig is being loaded into a container and begins the two week journey from Texas to Honduras.

When we launched in 2019 we purchased a 'new to us' rig which we named "Faith". It was to remind us of the faith it took to start the ministry, the faith first time givers had to trust our new organization, of our devotion to keep JESUS at the center of all and ... in the faith we could reach the unseen waters.

Today, we named your brand new rig "Grace".

The name feels especially meaningful because, in many ways, the rig itself is an act of grace — something our organization could never have earned on our own, but is freely given through the compassion of others.

Just like God’s grace comes as a gift.

And now, it will become a life-giving gift for thousands more.

There’s also something powerful about a massive drill rig named Grace, don’t you think?

Grace IS powerful. It changes lives.

It meets us where we are and makes transformation possible.

In the same way, this rig will bring transformative change to communities through clean water, improved health, and renewed hope — all while creating opportunities to share the beautiful, life-saving love of Jesus.

Faith started our journey.
Now Grace will carry us through.

Thank you to each and every one who prayed, gave, walked, sold, spoke, shared and encouraged.

Today is a good day. And our God is a good God!

No professionally captured moment. No glossy photo perfected by a marketing team.

Just a few people gathered in the shade of palm trees on a sweltering afternoon, listening as a village shares its need for clean water.

These conversations are where every project begins.

Before funding comes in. Before the drill rig arrives. Before the water flows and the celebration happens.

We listen.

Because these people matter.

Their stories matter.

And when we share their story, your response matters too.

Have your eyes ever seen something they can’t unsee?

That’s how we feel after spending time with the beautiful people of Honduras.

How many times we’ve been brought to tears as we watch a little brown skinned, brown eyed boy carrying water for his mama — and we say “oh my gosh, doesn’t he look like our son ?!”

Or we watch a young girl being a leader amongst her classmates and we see our own daughter in the way she talks and throws her head when she laughs.

And we think ... what will become of these kids? How hard will their lives continue to be?

What difference would something as “simple” as clean water mean to them?

Sometimes you experience things in life that makes your heart feel something so deep you can never shake it. Not for your whole life.

It simply wrecks you. In all the right ways.

So although our hearts break (and celebrate) for all that we’ve seen — we thank God that He put us in these exact moments to see what our eyes can never unsee.

Today TheSimpleChurch.tv shared the story of the loaves and fishes with these sweet kiddos.

They talked about how Jesus took what seemed so small and after He blessed it, used it to meet the needs of many.

What a reminder that God still works that way!

He uses willing hearts, simple acts of love, and ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

Grateful for every moment today reminding these kids they are seen and deeply loved. 💙

We don’t speak the same language, but we can still speak the love of Jesus through our actions. ❤️

This week the Calvary team is in Honduras repairing very old wells and helping restore reliable access to clean water.

But even in the middle of their work, people always come first.

The wrenches get set down and the compressor turned off because someone matters more than the project.

A conversation. A prayer. A smile. A child wanting to hold your hand or to see you play a quick kick of soccer.

Yes, we are repairing wells. But more importantly, we are reminding people they are seen, loved, and never forgotten by God.
