Helping end the Long Walk since 2012.
This amazing human has supported Walk 4 Water/WaterAfrica since first grade. Her first year she wanted nothing more then to learn and gain knowledge on how to help “Make the World a Better Place” not just locally but globally. Over the years the girls in her troop gain other interests and supported other things, but she kept moving forward.
Collecting bottles and cans to help build wells now for 7 years. She has turned her efforts into her Girl Scout GOLD Award “Cans for Change”. This two part project has taken 4 years to complete and I’m proud to say that this Saturday she will present her final part during our annual Walk.
If you have been a part of our Girl Scout troop over the years and want to show support to Stephanie, please join us for her final Walk (as a Girl Scout) on Saturday at foothills park from 8:30-10a.
If you want to donate your bottles and cans, please PM me and we will make arrangements to come pick them up. She’s about $450 from her target goal for this year so everything helps.

Wow, how time flies. This was the Older Girl Retreat, 2016 and 2022, Stephanie’s first and last as a Girl Scout. Although none of the original girls were with us this year, Steph and I thought of you and shared memories with the new girls that joined us. Everyone wants to go back, even Steph😁, she will be adulting for the next one.🤪😜

Summer is always an adventure even as a Girl Scout. We headed out this morning on a family trip and took along a Girl Scout sister who is a fighter. Cancer sucks and this angel will get to travel flat Charlotte style on our tour of 18 different states. See national parks, monuments and get to see places she would never get to see otherwise.

LAST DAY LADIES - WE MADE IT THROUGH
A huge thank you goes out to our families, our friends, and our community. The girls could not have done it without you.
Every one of you have amazed me this year. From rocking last years cookie booths, being quarantined, awesome zoom meeting, reconnecting virtually, growing troop numbers and this years Online ONLY Cookie Sales.
Everyone did an amazing job this year.

Number of Cookies sold = 10,740 boxes / 11,866
All prize sheets have been submitted and selections made.
As we bring this years cookie season to an end be proud of what you did, this year wasn’t easy and look forward to the fun activities you will be planning with your troop.

Opening cookie booths weekend, however due to Covid you will not see girls and their product. Check out the cool signs that you will see., A-frame signs will be posted at various grocery stores in Oregon city. These signs feature troops in Oregon city that are selling Girl Scout cookies stop by and check it out.
