"Building Healthy Garden Soil for Better Vegetables." Yes, you can! Learn how at the Washington County Master Gardener Association's Speaker Series on Tuesday, September 1, 7 PM, as OSU (Oregon) Master Gardener Program volunteer and farmer Bruce Gravens presents.

Learn the characteristics of healthy soil and the role of soil organic matter in building healthy garden soils. Bruce will highlight common techniques of soil improvement ranging from "no till" to the disruption of “double digging”. He will also share his process for improving soil health.
