Hay for the Horses:

This $5 Friday we are raising funds to help cover our hay cost. This week we were able to get some more pasture grass hay along with our weekly purchase of alfalfa that most of our horses also require.

Once horses come to us, we continue to provide them with the best care our resources will allow. This is why we need continued support from people like you. Every little bit matters. We are still operated by 100% volunteers, so every penny goes to the horses, not salaries. We know times are tough, and we greatly appreciate any and all support. We are also 501c3 nonprofit, so your donation is a tax credit as the law allows.
If you can’t donate at this time, please comment and share so Facebook sends this post out to more people.

The beautiful gelding that sold at auction Saturday for $2500 is Race of Fury AHR*658424 SE/AK.

We are providing quarantine for him, but we want to be clear, we did not purchase him. We are glad that we are able to assist in this way.

We call him Quintin. He is beautiful, has lovely movement and truly is special. The photos of him used to advertise on the auction site, are old photos. He is in decent condition, however, nothing like the robust beauty presented.

This gorgeous gelding is selling tomorrow at the auction in Junction City Oregon. Our fundraiser Gala is tomorrow evening, so there is no way we can attend the auction. He is so nice and still a good age, so we hope he goes private.

Just in case he has little to no interest, is there anyone who can get eyes on this horse? We can possibly bid online if needed, but only if that is an option.
