New Intakes:

We had three new intakes today. Help us welcome Willow, Snow, and Gidget. These lovely mares our owner surrenders. Their owner care for them in the way that they need.

Willow is the bay mare who is approximately 7 years old. Not registered but could be registered. She has not been handled much so we will be treating her as a clean slate. We believe that Gidget is her Dam.

Gidget is in her early to mid 20s. She had professional training when young and up until 10 years ago she was the owners riding horse. The owner was unable to continue to ride her. She is registered, but owner could not remember her registered name and still needs to track down papers.

Snow is 30 years old, possibly older. She is shy and standoffish until she learns to trust. She is said to be registered, but like Gidget, registered name could not be recalled.

If someone has datasource and wants to search horses under the owner name, please message us.

We will be working to secure papers.

Snow will be placed as a companion horse or in long term foster. If you have room for a gorgeous older beauty, message us.

All three of these horses are in need of Dentles, vaccinations, and Farrier care. Snow needs to put on some weight.

New Intakes:

We had three new intakes today. Help us welcome Willow, Snow, and Gidget. These lovely mares are owner surrenders. Their owner could no longer care for them in the way that they need.

We have been in contact with the three private buyers of the Arabian Horses that sold Saturday at auction.

There were early rumors that a feedlot owner ended up with a couple. For anyone that was worried, does not have to be. They all went private. We raised just under $3000, and have allocated a small portion to assist the buyers with medical cost. We made good on that this morning with the black mare.

The remaining donated funds will roll into the next auction.

The photos of the horses were sent to us by the new owners.

We would like for private buyers of the 4 Arabian horses that sold at Eugene Livestock Auction today to contact us directly. We want to allocate some of the funds raised for these horses to assist the new owners with vet cost.

The horses at auction sold for $600 each. We are glad that there was interest in them privately.

We raised $2575, which will roll over for the next auction or refunded on request. We are grateful for all your support. This means we can confidently pull a horse at another auction without asking for support first.

URGENT!!! URGENT!!!

These 4 arabian horses were dropped off at Eugene Livestock Auction yesterday afternoon to sell this morning. No information other than 2 mares and 2 geldings. Who does that??? We posted yesterday to network them, but sadly, there has not been much response and other rescues have stated they will not intercept. This is hurting our hearts so much. We don’t have a clue how old (most of the time horses are said to be younger than actually are) or if they are even halter broke. They are not even at a horse sale. These horses have been DUMPED. These are the most vulnerable and at risk as they come. These are the horses we strive to intercept. Sadly, in our economic climate, donations have significantly dropped. Unless we receive a sizable donation, pulling all 4 is something that we cannot do. However, we may be able to pull one if we get support from you. For purchase, transport, quarantine and vetting, we need $2000 per horse. Can we raise enough in a short amount of time to save one horse. We believe we can with your support. Is it possible to raise enough to save all 4, yes, however, it will take a huge effort of donations and sharing to get this in front of as many people as possible. It can be done. We NEED your help with spreading the word and raising the needed funds to change the trajectory of these horses lives for the good. We will do the rest. We will spend hours handling them, caring for them, getting them medical treatment and training to prepare them for adoption. Together, we can make a positive difference.

These 4 Arabian horses are selling tomorrow at the Eugene Livestock Auction. There is very little info on them. This is a networking post as unless we received a sizable donation (enough to purchase, transport, and vet them) we are unable to intercept at this time. Please share and help get this out to the arabian community.

Is there anyone near Junction City that can stop by Eugene Livestock Auction and look at 4 Arabians? Time is of the essence. No info on them, however, would like someone to get eyes on them before they sell at the auction tomorrow morning. Thank you
