What would you like to see at our site? Come on down to the OC Fall Fest tomorrow, October 3rd, to give your feedback on the proposed improvement concepts at the City's booth!

The OC Fall Fest this weekend will be your first chance to get a peek at the proposed improvement concepts for the End of the Oregon Trail.
The design reimagines the beloved community site with a refreshed landscape, renovated facilities and enhanced visitor experiences that honor its historical legacy while preparing it for the next generation of visitors.
This unveiling marks an important milestone in the site’s redevelopment, and community input remains a key part of shaping what comes next.
Residents are invited to stop by the City’s booth at OC Fall Fest outside of the Pioneer Community Center to view the new designs, ask questions, and share their thoughts in person. Can’t make it to the event? The designs will also be available for review on the project website following Fall Fest, where residents can explore the plans and submit feedback online.

You're Invited! 📩

Exciting new things are happening at our site, and we are celebrating with a Fall Launch.

Starting October 12th, we'll slowly roll out new hands-on activities, new limited-edition educational kits in our gift shop, and new materials to explore in our reference library. The big hurrah will be our Open House on October 17th from 10 am-4 pm, with live music from 1- 2 pm, free snacks, and $5 off your admission ticket! In addition to the Open House, we will be hosting our first Movie Night that same night from 7-9 pm for $5, where we will be watching the classic horror film Night of the Living Dead (1968).

Come and join us for all the fun!

Tonight’s events have been canceled due to weather. We are sad but think this is the right choice.

The visitors center and interpretive center remain open until 5 with plenty of air conditioning and our two regular movies playing in the theatre.

Take care of your lungs and each other. We look forward to welcoming you back to events on the green when the smoke clears.

Due to the worsening weather conditions, tonight's National Night Out event has been cancelled.
