Quarterly GCA Conference
REGISTRATION REMINDER

**REGISTRATION CLOSES 4/30/2026**

REGISTER HERE!!! GCA Conference 5/8/2026

Conference Details:
May 8, 2026
Providence Willamette Falls Community Center
519 15th Street, Oregon City, OR 97045
Virtual Option available as well

Schedule:
8am - Breakfast
8:30 Member Meeting
9:30 - AARP Presentation
1045 - 11 Break
11-12:30 - Medical Ethics Presentation

Presentation Information:

1. AARP ‘HomeFit’ Program - guidelines on age-friendly housing. We will hear how home modifications will enhance seniors’ safety and comfort in an age when current housing stock doesn’t suit our elders’ needs. Keeping clients at home is a ‘least restrictive alternative’ if it can be done safely and within cost parameters.

2. Erleen Whitney, PhD. will lead us in an important session about medical ethics as applied to our vulnerable clients. After learning some basic ‘pillars’ of ethics, we will break into discussion groups to review the elements of a sticky (true) case history.
