Photos from the 3rd annual 2019 Culinary Champions for Charity event in Vancouver, WA held on 11/17/2019. HUGE THANK YOU to all the Chefs, Sponsors, Attendees, donors and organizers in bringing this event together to benefit our local veterans through the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center (CCVAC).

Clark County Veterans Assistance Center (CCVAC) was born from many conversations by local Vietnam Veterans who said, “There oughta be a place…” Through the dedication of countless volunteered hours, the center opened in 2011 as a 501 c3 non-profit organization. The mission was, and remains that, of providing a welcome and safe environment to assist Veterans and their families in obtaining benefits, services, and resources to meet basic needs.

CCVAC was recently nominated for the Nonprofit Network of Southwest Washington’s Excellence in Volunteer Program Award. The Center went from serving roughly 800 Veterans its first year to 3,000 Veterans last year with a projection of even more Veterans served in 2018.

The culmination of this year’s Culinary Champions for Charity 2019 at Warehouse '23 on November 17th. So many family, friends, sponsors and great community pillars once again came together to exceed this year’s goal and helped us present the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center a check for $4250. Our goal was to exceed last years money we raised for the North County Community Food Bank of $4118. It is only with so many committed people coming together that we can collectively make an impact on our communities and the fabulous organizations that provide such needed services. Than you again to all our great Sponsors and we look forward to next year and once again coming together to have some serious fun and laughs, while helping the organizations that do so much for our communities.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
