Thanks to an incredibly generous repeat donation from community members Dale and Janie Zadina, we are overjoyed to announce that funding for the playground project is officially COMPLETE! 🛝✨

This milestone would not have been possible without the overwhelming support of our community. Thank you to every donor, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who believed in this vision and helped make it a reality. 💚🙌

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

We're thrilled to share that the long-awaited playground equipment has landed in Ord! The build is set to begin in early November and we couldn't be more excited to see our community's vision start coming to life.

For everyone's safety, we kindly ask that you stay away from the equipment and construction site while work is underway.

We also want to let everyone know that while we had hoped to complete the entire playground this fall, the pour-in-place rubber surfacing may need to wait until spring 2026, as it requires warmer temperatures for proper installation. While this may delay access to the playground, the build will still move forward as planned this fall and we will pray for higher fall temperatures.

While we've made incredible progress, we are still actively fundraising to complete the project goal. Every donation -- big or small -- brings us one step closer! If you're able to give or know someone who might want to support, please consider sharing or donating.

Thank you for your continued support and excitement as we get closer to making this playground a reality. We can't wait to see everyone enjoying this new space!

~PMW Fraternalist of the Year, Kim Koch~ Kim has been an outstanding example of fraternal spirit through her active involvement in her chapter and the broader community. One of her most impactful efforts was organizing a Matching Fund project to support improvements to an all-inclusive public park in Ord, Nebraska — designed specifically to serve individuals with disabilities, wheelchair users, and families with strollers. With support from Lincoln Chapter 264, Kim helped secure a generous donation and then got to work spreading the word. She partnered with a local radio station and went on-air three separate times to promote “Park Polooza,” a fun and family-friendly fundraiser held at the Valley County Fairgrounds. The event included pulled pork sandwiches served by the local FFA chapter, bingo, raffles, and even a ‘Trifecta Competition’ featuring an eating contest and a puzzle challenge. Held on a Sunday afternoon, the event brought in a large crowd, many of whom stopped by after church to show their support. Thank you to Lindsey Dzingle, WoodmenLife RSM, for submitting the nomination.

Thank You for Supporting the Valley County Fairgrounds 4H Concession Stand! 🍿🌭

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our amazing community! Thanks to your generous donations and helping hands, the Chant Nation Youth Booster and Bound for a New Playground concession stand at the fair was stocked and staffed — and a success! 🙌

Whether you donated supplies, volunteered your time, or stopped by for a snack, YOU made a difference. Every dollar raised goes directly toward the youth of our community. 💙

Our concessions with Chant Nation Youth Boosters-Ord at the Valley County Fairgrounds for 2025 4H fair are going great and we have already run out of items. We are so thankful that we were able to get everything donated to start. You are all so wonderful! The items we are now needing are:
Sour cream
Whipped cream

Nacho chips
Hot dogs
Hit dog buns
Nacho cheese
Iced tea
14 to go containers
