What a beautiful, sunny morning to open the NEW park! Thank you to everyone who came out for donuts and the ribbon cutting celebration today. It was so great seeing so many community members come together for such a special moment.

A huge thank you to all of our donors, supporters, and everyone who helped make this project happen. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

We also want to let everyone know that the parking stalls, sidewalk, and seeding will be completed by the city at a later date. The donor wall is also currently being worked on and will be added once completed.

We’re so excited to see the park enjoyed for years to come. Thanks again for all the love and support. We’re lucky to have such an amazing community.

🚧 Playground Update 🚧 ***PLEASE READ ALL***

We’re excited to share that the pour-in-place rubber surface is being installed this week at the new playground! This is one of the final major steps before opening.

To ensure the surface cures properly and is safe for everyone, it is extremely important that no one enters the playground area until it is officially opened. Even minor disturbances during the curing process can compromise the surface and delay the opening timeline.

We are hopeful that the playground will be ready to open next week, but that depends on the surface curing correctly and remaining undisturbed.

We kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation in staying out of the fenced playground area during this time. We have also notified local police and asked for additional monitoring of the park area while the surface cures.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and excitement as we finish this project and prepare to officially open the playground for the community to enjoy!
