Mother's Day Out (MDO) is a non-profit cooperative play school program designed to give quality care to infants and toddlers while their parents are out. The children are supervised by a director\teacher plus a sufficient number of co-op parents to maintain a ratio of one adult to five children. The program is less structured than a regular nursery school due to the varying ages of enrolled childr
en and the general purpose. Parents have the option to register their child for varying amounts of time. Families who choose to use this service are expected to participate by periodically helping with child care, i.e. The amount of time expected from each family depends on the frequency of use and the plan under which the child is registered. Cost of the service will vary depending on the amount of time for which one registers plus the number of children enrolled. The cut off date is December 1st. Your child must be 3 years old on Dec 1st of the current year to be enrolled as a 3 (+) year old. (If you child turns 4 before Dec 1st then they are too old to be enrolled.) MDO is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, 9:15A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
