We are so incredibly blessed at Senior Wishes to have the support of so many wonderful people in our community!

Our latest example of that generosity comes from The Pub, who selected Senior Wishes as the recipient of the proceeds from their recent volleyball tournament.

A heartfelt thank-you to Lynn DiRienzo and to everyone who donated a basket, participated in the tournament, and helped make this event such a success!

We recently granted a wish to the residents of United Church Manor in West Seneca for a ride on the Miss Buffalo! As they drove downtown, several residents were thrilled to drive by their former elementary school and all of them appreciated seeing the beautiful architecture of Buffalo. The weather cooperated with a warm and sunny day, as we learned about all the foundational architectural and engineering marvels that built the "Queen City of the Lakes."

When Virginia heard that her favorite game show was hitting the road and coming to Buffalo, she knew exactly what she wanted her wish to be!

A lifelong fan, Virginia dreamed of being in the audience and experiencing all the fun and excitement firsthand. And that’s exactly what she got—a front-row seat to an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, energy, and all the excitement she had enjoyed watching from home for so many years.

While Virginia didn’t get the chance to make it up on stage, it didn’t matter. She was there, soaking it all in and enjoying every moment.

Sometimes, the best wishes are simply about being part of something you’ve loved
for a lifetime. And for Virginia, it was a perfect evening!
