The approval process takes approximately 2-3 weeks, although many applicants receive their approval in a few days and may check their application status online. TSA will notify members with eligibility results.

The parents and Cadets of the California Capital Region welcomed 17 candidates and future USAFA hopefuls for our annual Grassroots event. We would like to thank 63’ USAFA grad Bill Heinlein and his lovely wife Claudia for extending their hospitality as they hosted the event. Also, special thanks to Lt. Col. Hinman for leading the candidate information discussion. We wish all applicants the best of luck!

2017 Pre-I Day Picnic

Welcome to the California Capital Region Air Force Academy Parent Club. Our primary mission is to provide support to our parents and assistance to our cadets at the United States Air Force Academy. Our club is a valuable resource for sharing experiences and knowledge with new parents as their high school students transition to life at a military academy. Parent club members are here to support each other throughout the 4 years and to provide assistance to our cadets back at the Academy by sponsoring events and organizations that provide assistance to our cadets. At the end of four years of hard work we then celebrate the commissioning of our cadets as officers in the United States Air Force. USAFA is unlike any other college experience.
