What an active and inspiring week for Helping Hearts Outreach! ❤️

On Friday, Sophia Moorer (Founder & CEO) and Chenoa Bethea (Treasurer) attended the Development Peer Network Symposium presented by TogetherSC at The Citadel Beach Club on the Isle of Palms.

As breathtaking as the location was, it paled in comparison to the wealth of information we received. The symposium provided insight, strategies, and resources that could have taken us years to learn on our own. We left feeling better equipped, encouraged, and even more excited about the future of Helping Hearts Outreach.

We are truly thrilled and blessed to be a part of the TogetherSC Nonprofit Network. A special shout-out to the Development Peer Network for creating such an informative and impactful experience!

This past Monday, Helping Hearts Outreach hosted the first of many events at St. Paul Apartments! ❤️

The children and families enjoyed a fun movie afternoon complete with popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs, and plenty of smiles. We were honored to have Lt. Black of the Department of Public Safety join us and open the event with prayer.

St. Paul Apartments is also home to Helping Hearts Outreach’s very first afterschool program, making this community especially meaningful to us. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Brittany Holman and building lasting connections with the residents of St. Paul!

This is only the beginning! 💙❤️💚🧡

It will take place at the Orangeburg County Conference Center on September 30, 2026 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Find resources and have a chance to speak with Orangeburg County professionals!
