O.U.R Q.U.E.E.N.S MENTORING GROUP is an organization that was created with the thought of helping the little girls of the Orangeburg community. Programs that suit the needs of young girls between the ages of 5-17 are limited. With that knowledge in mind, this program intends to focus on developing our young girls into the best person they can be. Participants will be introduced to programs that wi

ll help establish a stable foundation, such as Discovering The Queen I Am: Through Mind, Body and Spirit, that focuses on self identification, etiquettes and establishing morals & core values; community service activities like Adopt-a-Highway and our Get Fit Get Active, a program that's designed to teach healthy living habits in an effort to reduce unhealthy eating habits and obesity. Our goal is to show our ladies that they can live a healthy, whole and nutritional lifestyle and aid their community while having fun doing so. OUR Q.U.E.E.N.S MENTORING GROUP stands for Obtaining Unconventional Resources for Qualified, Underprivileged, young ladies that are willing to excel in Education, Etiquettes, Nutrient and Self-identity. We strongly stand behind our mission statement: To foster the ongoing advancement of young girls between the ages of 5-18 and to help them to make positive life choices, while exploring every available option with the ability to maximize her ROYAL potential. We have a vision to help each girl discover the queen she was destined to be through educational enrichment activities, etiquette, nutritional knowledge, financial literacy workshops, creative fund-raising and community outreach involvement. With hard work and dedication, we are striving to make sure that the young ladies of Orangeburg and surrounding areas, are aware of the life she is capable of having, while showing her that we value her life and that we are willing to do EVERYTHING in our power to redefine and polish her like the precious jewel she is.
