LaunchSpace LaunchSpace is more than a traditional makerspace. LaunchSpace provides the tools, workspace, and product storage.

Located in the heart of the North Quabbin region, we provide workshop space and equipment, but also support the growth of entrepreneurs and training of those hoping to step into technical careers. LaunchSpace is a member-based, multi-skill, collaborative, workshop environment providing tools, equipment, education and support to people who want to make things, but don't have the desire, the space o

r the money to build a shop of their own. It offers an environment to share creative energy, a classroom for personal learning for all ages, and workforce training for re-entry into the job market. A component of LaunchSpace is to be a business incubator supporting development of the creative economy; specifically for those who would like to start an arts and/or making-based business but who don't have the capital to invest in a fully equipped shop and storage facility. The new business owner gets customers, builds and stores inventory, and when ready, delivers and installs it. When owners are ready to go out independently, LaunchSpace will work with them to get the businesses set up and running, including free business consulting.

Teen Open Studio is a free monthly maker get-together where teens socialize and make cool things. 🎨

⚙️ What will I be making?
Each month will feature a different shop or medium to explore. In September, you'll get hands-on with bleach printing.

✔️ Do I need any experience?
No, this is a casual, exploratory workshop designed to let teens dabble in new creative mediums at their own pace.
