🚨💙 POLICE K-9 KILLED, TWO OFFICERS SHOT IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CALL. PRAYERS REQUESTED 💙🚨 A routine response to a domestic disturbance turned into a nightmare for Chesterfield County Police, VA. Two officers were shot and remain hospitalized in critical but stable condition after coming under gunfire while responding to a call for help. Tragically, Police K-9 Knight was killed in the line of duty while protecting his fellow officers and serving his community. K-9 Knight, a three-year veteran of the department, made the ultimate sacrifice. As Chesterfield Police Chief Col. Edward Carpenter said, “K-9 Knight died heroically in the line of duty.” The suspect was also wounded during the exchange of gunfire and is expected to survive. Please keep these wounded officers, K-9 Knight’s handler, and the entire Chesterfield Police Department in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏🐾💙
