August brought another month of service across the City of Orange, with Orange City firefighters responding to 1,569 calls for service, including:

Fire Calls: 47
Hazmat: 5
Medical Calls: 1,290
Other Calls: 120
Service Calls: 107

From medical emergencies and fires to the everyday calls for help that matter to our residents, our firefighters remain ready to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Every number tells a story. Here’s a look at how Orange City Firefighters served the community in July.

Our crews responded to 1,462 calls for service, an increase of 112 calls from June.

July responses included:

Fire Calls: 40
Hazmat: 9
Medical Calls: 1,214
Other Calls: 107
Service Calls: 92

Every call represents someone who needed help. From medical emergencies and fires to hazardous materials incidents and other service requests, Orange City firefighters are ready to respond whenever our community calls.

The 2026 Candidate Filing Period is officially OPEN!

The Orange City Firefighters Association has proudly endorsed:

• District 6 – Brendon Moeller

At this time, we have not been contacted by any candidates seeking to represent District 4.

If you’re planning to run for Orange City Council in District 4 and would like to earn the endorsement of Orange City Firefighters, we’d like to hear from you. The filing period is now open, and we encourage all candidates to reach out so we can learn more about you, your priorities, and your vision for the City of Orange.

The numbers are in. Here’s a look at how Orange City Firefighters served the community in June.

Our crews responded to 1,350 calls for service, an increase of 32 calls from May.

June responses included:

Fire Calls: 26
Hazmat: 8
Medical Calls: 1,115
Other Calls: 85
Service Calls: 116

Every call represents someone in our community who needed help. Whether responding to a medical emergency, a fire, a hazardous materials incident, or assisting a resident in need, Orange City firefighters are ready to answer the call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

One of the most anticipated auction experiences supporting Assistance League of Orange each year.

Orange Blossoms Auxiliary was honored to volunteer at this year's Orange City Firefighters Grill fundraiser, a special evening that brings together community members, supporters, and local heroes for a great cause.

Our Orange Blossoms volunteers helped serve beverages throughout the event, while members of Assistance League of Orange served up the delicious BBQ prepared by the Orange City firefighters. Guests enjoyed an evening of great food, live music, and community connection, all while supporting programs that make a difference throughout Orange.

Events like these showcase the power of partnership and volunteerism. From the firefighters behind the grill to the volunteers serving guests, every person plays a role in creating a meaningful experience that benefits our community.

We are grateful to the Orange City Firefighters and Assistance League of Orange for another memorable evening of service, fundraising, and fun. 🧡

May was another busy month for Orange City Firefighters.

Our crews responded to 1,318 calls for service, including 1,083 medical calls, 33 fire calls, 5 hazmat incidents, 82 other emergency responses, and 115 service calls.

In addition to serving our community at home, Orange City firefighters were also deployed to the Sandy Fire and Verona Fire, assisting communities facing significant wildfire threats while maintaining service to the City of Orange.

Whether responding to a medical emergency, helping a resident in need, or deploying across California during fire season, our firefighters remain committed to answering the call whenever and wherever they are needed.

Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy today and serves as a lasting reminder that freedom is never free. As firefighters, we understand the commitment to serve something greater than ourselves, and today we pause to reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We remember the fallen, honor their legacy, and keep their families in our thoughts.

So far this year:
January: 1,391 calls for service
February: 1,288 calls for service
March: 1,425 calls for service

These numbers reflect the steady demand for emergency services and the commitment of our firefighters to serve the community each day.
