Wells of Agape Wells of Agape is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax exempt organization with a heart and passion for the families of SETX.

Wells of Agape is a Christ centered organization whose heart is to preserve and reunite families. We promote the welfare of families in the community by modeling, mentoring and teaching practical living skills to help them become more successful in the workforce as well as in the home. We believe that each person is significant and plays an important role in our society. Therefore, we are dedicate

d to helping abused and neglected children, as well as their families, find purpose and prepare them for independent living. We provide faith based counseling, Parenting classes, Anger Management classes, Relapse Prevention Information classes, and life skills training, Prison Ministry

Due to excessive rainfall and resulting unsafe conditions at the park, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming Cops and Kids event.

Recent heavy rains have left the grounds too saturated for the safe operation of large equipment, machinery, and generators that are essential to the event. Additionally, standing water throughout the park creates safety concerns for attendees, volunteers, and participating organizations.

The safety of our community is our top priority, and after carefully evaluating the conditions, postponement was determined to be the safest course of action.

At this time, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office is evaluating potential options for rescheduling the event. Additional information will be provided as those options are considered and a determination is made.

We appreciate the understanding and continued support of our sponsors, volunteers, participating agencies, vendors, and the community members who help make Cops and Kids possible each year.

Today was such a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. This is what “ strong families make strong communities” looks like in action for us. Thank you to all the volunteers who showed up with love and compassion! And thank you Lord for allowing us to be part of Your work in our community! Glory to God!

Thank you to all the Laborers of Love who have helped Wells of Agapé throughout these 17 years! Let’s continue to go after the harvest! Luke 1:16-17. Those of you who have given love offerings, gone into the prisons, jail, taught classes, prayed, recovery group, led worship, partnered in outreaches, etc. Ron & I love & appreciate each one of you!
