Gulf Coast Cajuns CFMA will be pulling a float Sat. Oct 6,2018 in the Winnie Rice Festival Parade. Our young Cajuns will be playing Cajun music on the float. Look for Touch of Cajuns Catering trailer with the Gulf Coast Cajuns CFMA members smiling and waving with good Cajun music on board.
Also 21/2 weeks at the Orange VFW on Hwy. 87 North will be the 10th annual Gulf Coast Cajun Festival with Jr. Hebert and the Maurice Playboys and Troy LeJeune and Cajun n Review. The festival will be starting at 10 a.m., doors open at 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. with cake walks, live auction, silent auction and 50/50. Guaranteed to pass a good time.

We had a great meeting last night at our general meeting and great food. Welcome to our new members Kenny, Deana, Kinlee Mings, also Doris Haines.
We also were honored to have our new National Board President Blaine Dupont and his lovely wife Karen. He brought a lot of good things up and has some great ideas to help build our CFMA membership. We all have to work together to help build our CFMA back to where it was. Our meeting are every 2nd Friday starting at 6:30 pm. We start with a covered dish supper, meeting and music. We meet at the VFW Post 2775 on Hwy. 87 North in Orange, Tex.
Come join us, you don't have to be a Cajun to have fun. Everybody is welcome to come pass a good time. Membership is only $20.00 a family per year.

The Gulf Coast Cajun Chapter CFMA will still be hosting their Annual Cajun Festival Saturday Oct.28th at the VFW Post 2775 in Orange, Texas on Hwy. 87 North. Starts 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.. Johnny playing at 10a.m., Donovan Bourque & Friends will start playing 1:30 p.m.. Serving gumbo, pork stew, cracklins and links. We will be having cake walks, silent auction, live auctions and crowning a new Cajun King Heritage IX, come pass a good tome with us and see who our new king will be !!!
