Happy Mother’s Day to our moms who have waited for decades to hug their sons, to our moms who overcame incarceration and are breaking generational curses for their children, to our moms who overcame all the odds and continue to strive for their futures!

Our members are the heartbeat of UG. Opportunities to step into who they were meant to be allows for growth. Travelling to see the impact of social justice in other parts outside their community allows for change outside of themselves.

Thank you to our partner and friend owner of who always finds ways to pour into our members. This weekend he dedicated some of his time to do a grief group that included energy healing work and cleanse. Sitting in gratitude of the heavy weight we released as a group.

Healing takes place in various settings and we like to bring holistic methods to sometimes heal the things stuck in our bodies through energy work and meditation.

Congratulations to Joseph! What an incredible story of second chances and freedom! True Redemption and what justice can look like for children who were sentenced as adults and came back to show that people are worthy of an opportunity of freedom. You are a great mentor and strength to kids and we are so honored to have been given the chance to walk with you. We want to also give a shout out to your mom who never left your side, your attorney, Judge and DA, We love you!
