Why Pike?
• Sports: Many brothers play on NCAA athletic teams or club teams at Chapman including: Fo

otball, Lacrosse, Soccer, Golf, and Water polo
• Career Development: Graduate brothers offer real-world education in a variety of career fields; most will offer internships and employment networking.
• Philanthropy: The Fraternity places a strong emphasis on serving others. Philanthropic projects are a major focus of activity for Pi Kappa Alpha. At the Chapman University Walk Against Violence last year, we had 20 active brothers walk to the circle and back in high heels in efforts to raise awareness against sexual abuse towards women. Why go Greek?
• Every U.S. President and Vice President, except two in each office, born since the first social fraternity was founded in 1825 have been members of a fraternity.
• 76% of all Congressmen and Senators belong to a fraternity. 40 of 47 U.S. Supreme Court Justices since 1910 were fraternity men. 71% of those listed in “Who’s Who in America” belong to a fraternity.
• 85% of the U.S. Supreme Court Justices since 1910, have been Greek.
• Of the nation’s 50 largest corporations, 43 are headed by Greeks.
• 85% of Fortune 500 executives are fraternity members.

• The Greek system is the largest network of volunteers in the US, with members donating over 10 million hours of volunteer service each year.
