Hi everyone,

As you may have heard, SCHA has embarked on an exciting new chapter.

Fifty-six years ago, SCHA built its state-of-the-art campus in Orange — a building that, at the time, had few comparisons in the Jewish education scene around the country. That building has served us incredibly well, and over the years we have come to utilize — and outgrow — just about every inch of our space.

Enter 600 Saw Mill Road: a beautiful 35,000-square-foot building, most recently used by the University of New Haven. This space is ready to be used and, with Hashem’s help, will first become the home of our Bais Chana Academy Girls High School, and eventually our girls’ elementary division as well. This expansion will provide ample room for these divisions while freeing up much-needed space at our current campus for our boys and preschool departments.

Thank you to the many donors who have helped bring us this far. Now we turn to you to help us reach the next stage.

HomeGrown is the name of our campaign. A school is where the seeds of every child’s future are planted, and for over 80 years SCHA has been a warm, loving environment where children build strong foundations for life.

Please consider donating, spreading the word, or even creating a team. If you are in the area, it would be my honor to give you a tour of the new building.
