A non-profit org dedicated to transforming the lives of people in need of reconstructive plastic surgery locally & globally 🌏🙌 Locally.

Reshaping Lives. Globally. Exponentially. Our mission is to provide reconstructive plastic surgical training and care to those in need, regardless of their ability to pay, and to advance the field of Plastic Surgery through education and research. Our volunteer medical teams strive to alleviate suffering, both physical and emotional, by caring for underserved individuals with traumatic injuries, disfigurements as a result of cancer, or congenital deformities.

Access to breast reconstruction shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code, insurance coverage, or ability to pay.

For too many women, completing breast cancer treatment is only part of the journey. Financial barriers, limited insurance coverage, and lack of access to specialized reconstructive care can leave women without the opportunity to complete their reconstruction.

That’s why Mission Plasticos created Reshaping Lives: Full Circle™, a nationwide program connecting uninsured and underinsured post-mastectomy women with board-certified volunteer plastic surgeons and medical partners who provide reconstructive care at no cost to the patient.

From breast reconstruction and symmetry procedures to ni**le reconstruction and tattooing, our goal is to help women access the care they need to feel whole again.

Every woman deserves the opportunity to complete her journey of care. 💗

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

For many women, beating breast cancer is only part of the journey. After a mastectomy, access to breast reconstruction can play an important role in helping survivors feel whole, confident, and empowered as they move forward.

Through Mission Plasticos’ Reshaping Lives Full Circle program, we provide free breast reconstruction surgery to women who are uninsured, underinsured, or otherwise unable to afford the care they need.

This month, we honor the survivors. We remember those we’ve lost. We stand beside those still fighting. And we celebrate the strength of every woman whose life has been touched by breast cancer.

Because every woman deserves the opportunity to heal—inside and out. 💗

This is what hope looks like, and one of those moments that remind us why we do what we do.

Our patient was preparing for a life-changing reconstructive procedure, surrounded by a compassionate team dedicated to restoring not only physical function, but also confidence, dignity, and hope. It was an honor to stand beside her as she took another step forward on her healing journey.

At Mission Plasticos, we have been privileged to provide no-cost reconstructive surgery to patients who otherwise may not have had access to the care they needed. Thanks to our incredible volunteer surgeons, medical professionals, donors, and partners, lives have been transformed one patient at a time.
