I am asking to be elected as a member of the Orange City Council. The position is "At-Large" thus, I will be on every ballot. Everyone that lives within the city limits of Orange will be able to vote for me. I was on the Orange City Council from May, 2011 thru May 2013. During my service I was prepared for each council meeting, by reading the agenda packet in advance and preparing questions for th

e city administration. I asked questions so that the general public would have a better understanding of the topics under consideration. After 2 years on the council I was replaced by Tommy Ferguson who serves his district in a professional way. By my filing I am asking to return to the Council so that I may strengthen the council by bringing another conservative, business minded approach to the decision process. I believe past councils have made decisions that were short sighted, trended toward favoritism and had negative economic impact. I will work to change this. Thus, I respectfully request each of you vote for me beginning April 29 during Early Voting. Sincerely,
