The Jill Foundation "Financially Supporting Local Hairstylists diagnosed with Breast Cancer”

We are The Jill Foundation, an Orange County-based nonprofit dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of hairstylists who have been affected by breast cancer. Founded in 2010 in memory of Jill Etzold Kester, who valiantly battled stage 4 breast cancer, our foundation strives to honor her legacy by providing much-needed financial assistance to hairstylists working in Orange County, California.

💕 MEET OUR MOST RECENT RECIPIENT: LIANA DILANYAN 💕

We are honored to introduce Liana Dilanyan, our newest recipient of ! 💗

After being diagnosed in October 2025 with Stage 1B Triple-Negative Breast Cancer, Liana turned to Google searching for “Financial Assistance” — and that’s how she found us. We are so grateful she did!

Liana has been a talented hairstylist since 2011 and has had the incredible opportunity to work with some amazing celebrities, including , , , and many more! ✨

When chemotherapy began, the side effects made it impossible for her to continue working. Today, her focus is on what matters most: spending precious time with her two beautiful daughters. 💕👩‍👧‍👧

Outside of hairstyling, Liana loves to travel, with Barcelona and Greece among her favorite destinations. ✈️🌍

At The Jill Foundation, we believe no hairstylist should have to face breast cancer alone. We are honored to offer Liana support during this challenging chapter of her life.

Please join The Jill Foundation in welcoming Vikki Gaines to our family. 💗

Vikki has been a hairstylist since 1985 and has worked at Salon Gallery & Suites on and off for the past 10 years. She is a proud mom to two grown daughters.

Vikki was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer and is completing her final radiation treatment this week. 🎀

The Jill Foundation is once again honored to be able to assist a hairstylist in need. Our foundation was created to financially support local hairstylists who have been diagnosed with breast cancer—because when one of our own is facing such a difficult journey, we believe they shouldn’t have to face it alone.

We are able to continue this mission because of YOU—your generous donations, your support, and your belief in what The Jill Foundation stands for. ❤️

From the students at California Beauty Academy to the teams at Bellisima Salon, every person plays a part. There is something powerful about coming together for a cause that touches so many lives. Grateful for each and every one of you.
